चाणूरो मुष्टिकः कूटः
शलस् तोशल एव च
व्यायाम-मुद्गरैर् युक्ता
युयुधुस् ते परस्पअरम्
cāṇūro muṣṭikaḥ kūṭaḥ
śalas tośala eva ca
vyāyāma-mudgarair yuktā
yuyudhus te paraspaaram
cāṇūraḥ—Canura; muṣṭikaḥ—Mustika; kūṭaḥ—Kuta; śalaḥ—Sala; tośala—Tosala; eva—indeed; ca—and; vyāyāma-mudgaraiḥ—with clubs; yuktā—endowed; yuyudhuḥ—fought; te—they; paraspaaram—among themselves.
English translation of verse 5.7.12:
Then Cāṇūra, Muṣṭika, Kūṭa, Śala, and Tośala entered and began to fight each other with clubs.
