The Garga-samhita Verse 5.7.10, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 7 (The Killing of Kuvalayapida) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

गायकः प्रजगुस् तत्र
ननृतुर् वार-योषितः
नेदुर् मृदङ्ग-पटह-
ताल-भेर्य-नकादयः

gāyakaḥ prajagus tatra
nanṛtur vāra-yoṣitaḥ
nedur mṛdaṅga-paṭaha-
tāla-bherya-nakādayaḥ

gāyakaḥsingers; prajaguḥ—sang; tatra—there; nanṛtuḥ—danced; vāra-yoṣitaḥ—prostitutes; neduḥ—sounded; mṛdaṅga-paṭaha-tāla-bherya-nakādayaḥ—mṛdaṅgas, paṭahas, tālas, bheryas, nakas, and other instruments.

English translation of verse 5.7.10:

Suddenly the singers sang, the dancing-girls danced, and the mṛdaṅgas, paṭahas, tālas, bheryas, nakas, and other musical instruments were sounded.
