गायकः प्रजगुस् तत्र
ननृतुर् वार-योषितः
नेदुर् मृदङ्ग-पटह-
ताल-भेर्य-नकादयः
gāyakaḥ prajagus tatra
nanṛtur vāra-yoṣitaḥ
nedur mṛdaṅga-paṭaha-
tāla-bherya-nakādayaḥ
gāyakaḥ—singers; prajaguḥ—sang; tatra—there; nanṛtuḥ—danced; vāra-yoṣitaḥ—prostitutes; neduḥ—sounded; mṛdaṅga-paṭaha-tāla-bherya-nakādayaḥ—mṛdaṅgas, paṭahas, tālas, bheryas, nakas, and other instruments.
English translation of verse 5.7.10:
Suddenly the singers sang, the dancing-girls danced, and the mṛdaṅgas, paṭahas, tālas, bheryas, nakas, and other musical instruments were sounded.
