तत्-क्षणाद् दुर्-निमित्तानि
वामाङ्ग-स्फुरणानि च
प्रपश्यन्न् अङ्ग-भङ्गानि
न निद्रां प्राप दैत्य-राट्
tat-kṣaṇād dur-nimittāni
vāmāṅga-sphuraṇāni ca
prapaśyann aṅga-bhaṅgāni
na nidrāṃ prāpa daitya-rāṭ
tat-kṣaṇāt—from that moment; dur-nimittāni—evil omens; vāmāṅga-sphuraṇāni—trembling on the left side of his body; ca—and; prapaśyann—seeing; aṅga-bhaṅgāni—the breaking of the body; na—not; nidrām—sleep; prāpa—attained; daitya-rāṭ—the demon king.
English translation of verse 5.7.2:
From that moment Kaṃsa saw many evil omens. The left side of his body trembled. In dreams he saw his limbs broken. Then he could not sleep.
