The Garga-samhita Verse 5.6.40, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 6 (Seeing Shri Mathura) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

निरीक्ष्य गोविन्द-सु-रूपम् अद्भुतं
विमोहिता वै मथुरा-पुराङ्गणः
विस्रष्ट-वासः-कबराः स्मराधयः
परस्परं प्राहुर् इदं सखी-जनम्

nirīkṣya govinda-su-rūpam adbhutaṃ
vimohitā vai mathurā-purāṅgaṇaḥ
visraṣṭa-vāsaḥ-kabarāḥ smarādhayaḥ
parasparaṃ prāhur idaṃ sakhī-janam

nirīkṣya—seeing; govindaLord Kṛṣṇa's su-rūpam—handsome form; adbhutam—wonderful; vimohitā—enchanted; vai—indeed; mathurāof Mathurā; purāṅgaṇaḥ—the women; visraṣṭa—dishevelled; vāsaḥ—garments; kabarāḥ—and hair; smarādhayaḥ—tormented with amorous desires; parasparam—among themselves; prāhuḥ—said; idam—this; sakhī-janam—to their friends.

English translation of verse 5.6.40:

Gazing at Lord Kṛṣṇa's wonderfully handsome form, the women of Mathurā were bewildered with feelings of love. Tormented with amorous desires, and their hair and garments in disarray, they spoke among themselves.
