श्री-सैरन्ध्र्य् उवाच
दास्य् अस्मि सुन्दर-वर
कुब्जा नाम महा-मते
मद्-धस्तोत्थं च पाटीरं
जातं भोज-पतेः प्रियम्
śrī-sairandhry uvāca
dāsy asmi sundara-vara
kubjā nāma mahā-mate
mad-dhastotthaṃ ca pāṭīraṃ
jātaṃ bhoja-pateḥ priyam
śrī-sairandhry uvāca—the serving-girl said; dāsy—a maidsevant; asmi—I am; sundara-vara—O most handsome of men; kubjā—Kubjā; nāma—named; mahā-mate—O noble-hearted one; mad-dhastottham—made by my own hand; ca—and; pāṭīram—sandal paste; jātam—born; bhoja-pateḥ—of the Bhoja king Kaṃsa; priyam—favorite.
English translation of verse 5.6.11:
The maidservant said: O most handsome of men, I am a maidservant. O noble-hearted one, My name is Kubjā. I made this sandal paste with my own hand.
Kaṃsa, the king of the Bhojas, likes it very much.
