यान्तीं श्रियं पद्म-नेत्रं
पाटीरालेप-भाजनम्
बिभ्रतीं युवतीं कुब्जां
पथि पप्रच्छ माधवः
yāntīṃ śriyaṃ padma-netraṃ
pāṭīrālepa-bhājanam
bibhratīṃ yuvatīṃ kubjāṃ
pathi papraccha mādhavaḥ
yāntīm—going; śriyam—beautiful; padma-netram—lotus-eyed; pāṭīrālepa-bhājanam—carrying a cup of sandal paste; bibhratīm—carrying; yuvatīm—young; kubjām—hunchback girl; pathi—on the path; papraccha—asked; mādhavaḥ—Lord Kṛṣṇa.
English translation of verse 5.6.9:
Then Lord Kṛṣṇa posed a question to a young, beautiful, and lotus-eyed hunchback girl carrying a cup of sandal-paste as she walked on the road.
