बलदेवो ददौ तस्मै
श्रियं चान्वय-वर्धिनीम्
उत्थाय तौ ततो राजन्न्
अन्यं विथिं प्रजग्मतुः

baladevo dadau tasmai
śriyaṃ cānvaya-vardhinīm
utthāya tau tato rājann
anyaṃ vithiṃ prajagmatuḥ

baladevaḥLord Balarāma; dadau—gave; tasmai—to him; śriyam—handsomeness and opulence; cānvaya-vardhinīm—eternally increasing; utthāyarising; tau—Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma; tataḥ—then; rājann—O king; anyam—another; vithim—road; prajagmatuḥ—went.

English translation of verse 5.6.8:

Then Lord Balarāma gave him the gift of eternally increasing handsomeness and opulence. O king, then Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma stood up and left. Now They traveled on a different road.
