The Garga-samhita Verse 5.6.1, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 6 (Seeing Shri Mathura) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

श्री-नारद उवाच
अथ गोपालकैः सार्धं
श्री-कृष्णो नन्द-नन्दनः
गृहं जागम स-बलः
सुदाम्नो दाम-मालिनः

śrī-nārada uvāca
atha gopālakaiḥ sārdhaṃ
śrī-kṛṣṇo nanda-nandanaḥ
gṛhaṃ jāgama sa-balaḥ
sudāmno dāma-mālinaḥ

śrī-nārada uvāca—Śrī Nārada said; athathen; gopālakaiḥ—with the gopas; sārdham—with; śrī-kṛṣṇaḥŚrī Kṛṣṇa; nanda-nandanaḥ—the son of Nanda; gṛham—to the home; jāgama—went; sa-balaḥ—with Balarāma; sudāmnaḥ—of Sudāmā; dāma-mālinaḥ—a garland-maker.

English translation of verse 5.6.1:

Then, accompanied by Balarāma and the gopas, Śrī Kṛṣṇa, the son of Nanda, went to the florist Sudāmā's home.
