The Garga-samhita Verse 5.5.36, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. देहि नो मित्र वासांसि
रुचिराणि महा-मते
दातुस् ते हि परं स्रेयो
भविष्यति न संशयः

dehi no mitra vāsāṃsi
rucirāṇi mahā-mate
dātus te hi paraṃ sreyo
bhaviṣyati na saṃśayaḥ

dehigive; naḥ—to us; mitraO friend; vāsāṃsi—garments; rucirāṇi—beautiful; mahā-mate—O noble-hearted one; dātuḥ—of the giver; te—of you; hi—indeed; param—great; sreyaḥ—benefit; bhaviṣyati—will be; na—no; saṃśayaḥ—doubt.

English translation of verse 5.5.36:

O noble hearted friend, give these beautiful graments to us. If you give them, you will get a great gift in return. Of this there is no doubt.
