तथास्तु चोक्त्वा भगवान्
वृद्धैर् नन्द-प्रणोदितैः
गोपालैर् बालकैः सार्धं
स-बलो गतवान् पुरीम्
tathāstu coktvā bhagavān
vṛddhair nanda-praṇoditaiḥ
gopālair bālakaiḥ sārdhaṃ
sa-balo gatavān purīm
tathā—so; astu—be it; ca—and; uktvā—saying; bhagavān—the Lord; vṛddhaiḥ—with the elder; nanda-praṇoditaiḥ—sent by nanda; gopālaiḥ—gopas; bālakaiḥ—boys; sārdham—with; sa-balaḥ—with Balarāma; gatavān—went; purīm—to the city.
English translation of verse 5.5.24:
Saying, "So be it", and accompanied by Balarāma, the boys, and some adult gopas sent by Nanda, Lord Kṛṣṇa entered Mathurā City, . . .
