विहाय लज्जां लोकस्य
समाकृष्य रथाद् बलात्
कङ्कणैस् तेडुर् अक्रूरं
पश्यतोः कृष्ण-रामयोः

vihāya lajjāṃ lokasya
samākṛṣya rathād balāt
kaṅkaṇais teḍur akrūraṃ
paśyatoḥ kṛṣṇa-rāmayoḥ

vihāyagiving up; lajjām—the shame; lokasya—of the world; samākṛṣya—pulling; rathāt—from the chariot; balāt—by force; kaṅkaṇaiḥ—with bracelets; teḍuḥ—beat; akrūram—Akrūra; paśyatoḥ—looking on; kṛṣṇa-rāmayoḥ—Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma.

English translation of verse 5.4.33:

Throwing their shyness far away, they dragged Akrūra from the chariot and beat him with their bracelets as Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma passively looked on.
