पद्मिनीव गतानन्दं
पद्मिनी पद्मिनी-पतिम्
वीक्ष्योत्थायागता तस्मै
सादरेणासनं ददौ
padminīva gatānandaṃ
padminī padminī-patim
vīkṣyotthāyāgatā tasmai
sādareṇāsanaṃ dadau
padminī—lotus flowers; iva—like; gatā—attained; ānandam—bliss; padminī—lotus flowers; padminī-patim—the sun; vīkṣya—seeing; utthāya—rising; āgata—come; tasmai—to Him; sa—with; ādareṇa—respect; āsanam—a seat; dadau—gave.
English translation of verse 5.4.5:
She gazed at Him as a lotus flower gazes at the sun. Approaching Him, She respectfully offered Him a seat.
