श्री-नारद उवाच
राजन्न् एवं वदन्तीनां
गोपीनां विरहं परम्
विज्ञाय भगवान् देवः
शीघ्रं तासां गृहान् ययौ
śrī-nārada uvāca
rājann evaṃ vadantīnāṃ
gopīnāṃ virahaṃ param
vijñāya bhagavān devaḥ
śīghraṃ tāsāṃ gṛhān yayau
śrī-nārada uvāca—Śrī Nārada said; rājan—O king; evam—thus; vadantīnām—speaking; gopīnām—of the gopīs; viraham—the separation; param—great; vijñāya—understanding; bhagavān—the Supreme Personality of Godhead; devaḥ—the Lord; śīghram—at once; tāsām—of them; gṛhān—to the homes; yayau—went.
English translation of verse 5.4.1:
Śrī Nārada said: Aware of the anguish felt by the gopīs that spoke these words, the Supreme Personality of Godhead quickly went to their homes.
