दुःखिताः बान्धवाः सर्वे
यादवा भय-विह्वलाः
स-कुटुम्बाः कंस-भयाद्
भूमन् देशान्तरं गताः
duḥkhitāḥ bāndhavāḥ sarve
yādavā bhaya-vihvalāḥ
sa-kuṭumbāḥ kaṃsa-bhayād
bhūman deśāntaraṃ gatāḥ
duḥkhitāḥ—unhappy; bāndhavāḥ—kinsmen; sarve—all; yādavā—Yadavas; bhaya-vihvalāḥ—frightened; sa-kuṭumbāḥ—with their familites; kaṃsa-bhayāt—out of fear of Kaṃsa; bhūman—O Lord; deśāntaram—to other countries; gatāḥ—gone.
English translation of verse 5.3.18:
O Lord, unhappy and terrified of Kṛṣṇa, your kinsmen, the Yādavas, have fled with their families to other countries.
