The Garga-samhita Verse 5.3.18, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 3 (Akrura’s Arrival) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

दुःखिताः बान्धवाः सर्वे
यादवा भय-विह्वलाः
स-कुटुम्बाः कंस-भयाद्
भूमन् देशान्तरं गताः

duḥkhitāḥ bāndhavāḥ sarve
yādavā bhaya-vihvalāḥ
sa-kuṭumbāḥ kaṃsa-bhayād
bhūman deśāntaraṃ gatāḥ

duḥkhitāḥunhappy; bāndhavāḥ—kinsmen; sarve—all; yādavā—Yadavas; bhaya-vihvalāḥ—frightened; sa-kuṭumbāḥ—with their familites; kaṃsa-bhayāt—out of fear of Kaṃsa; bhūmanO Lord; deśāntaram—to other countries; gatāḥ—gone.

English translation of verse 5.3.18:

O Lord, unhappy and terrified of Kṛṣṇa, your kinsmen, the Yādavas, have fled with their families to other countries.
