The Garga-samhita Verse 5.3.16, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 3 (Akrura’s Arrival) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

गृहं गते नन्द-वरे हरिस् तं
पप्रच्छ सर्वं कुशलं स्व-पित्रोः
तथा यदूनां किल बान्धवानां
कंसस्य सर्वं विपरीत-बुद्धिम्

gṛhaṃ gate nanda-vare haris taṃ
papraccha sarvaṃ kuśalaṃ sva-pitroḥ
tathā yadūnāṃ kila bāndhavānāṃ
kaṃsasya sarvaṃ viparīta-buddhim

gṛham—to the home; gate—gone; nanda-vare—when King Nanda; hariḥ—Kṛṣṇa; tam—him; papraccha—asked; sarvam—all; kuśalam—welfare; sva-pitroḥ—of His father; tathā—then; yadūnām—of the Yadavas; kilaindeed; bāndhavānām—kinsmen; kaṃsasya—of Kaṃsa; sarvam—all; viparīta-buddhim—wickedness.

English translation of verse 5.3.16:

When Nanda had gone, Kṛṣṇa asked about the welfare of His father and His kinsmen, the Yādavas, and about the wicked deeds of Kaṃsa.
