The Garga-samhita Verse 5.3.9, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 3 (Akrura’s Arrival) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

येषां श्री-कृष्णदेवस्य
भक्तिः स्याद् धृदि मैथिल
तेषाम् आ-ब्रह्मणः सर्वं
तृणवज् जगतः सुखम्

yeṣāṃ śrī-kṛṣṇadevasya
bhaktiḥ syād dhṛdi maithila
teṣām ā-brahmaṇaḥ sarvaṃ
tṛṇavaj jagataḥ sukham

yeṣām—of whom; śrī-kṛṣṇadevasya—of Śrī Kṛṣṇadeva; bhaktiḥdevotion; syāt—is; hṛdi—in the heart; maithilaO king of Mithilā; teṣām—of them; ā-brahmaṇaḥ—up to Lord Brahmnā; sarvam—all; tṛṇavat—like a piece of straw; jagataḥ—of the world; sukham—the happiness.

English translation of verse 5.3.9:

O king of Mithilā, they who in their hearts love Kṛṣṇa think all this material world's happiness, even up Brahmā's happiness, is like a a handful of dry straw.
