The Garga-samhita Verse 5.3.2, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 3 (Akrura’s Arrival) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

परां भक्तिं ह्य् उपगतः
श्री-कृष्णे पुरुषोत्तमे
एवं विचारयन् बुद्ध्या
पथि गच्छन् महा-मतिः

parāṃ bhaktiṃ hy upagataḥ
śrī-kṛṣṇe puruṣottame
evaṃ vicārayan buddhyā
pathi gacchan mahā-matiḥ

parām—supreme; bhaktim—devotion; hy—indeed; upagataḥattained; śrī-kṛṣṇe—for Śrī Kṛṣṇa; puruṣottame—the Supreme Personality of Godhead; evam—thus; vicārayan—thinking; buddhyā—with intelligence; pathion the road; gacchan—going; mahā-matiḥthe noble-hearted one.

English translation of verse 5.3.2:

As he traveled on the road, noble-hearted Akrūra meditated on Śrī Kṛṣṇa, the Supreme Personality of Godhead. He was filled with devotion for the Lord.
