The Garga-samhita Verse 5.2.16, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 2 (The Killing of Keshi) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

तदा तु लेण्डं कृतवान्
रुद्ध-वायुर् महासुरः
खण्डी-भूतोदरः सद्यो
ममार हय-रूप-धृक्

tadā tu leṇḍaṃ kṛtavān
ruddha-vāyur mahāsuraḥ
khaṇḍī-bhūtodaraḥ sadyo
mamāra haya-rūpa-dhṛk

tadāthen; tu—indeed; leṇḍam—stool; kṛtavān—passing; ruddha-vāyuḥhis life-breath stopped; mahāsuraḥthe great demon; khaṇḍī-bhūtodaraḥ—his stomach broken; sadyaḥ—at once; mamāra—died; haya-rūpa-dhṛkhaving the form of a horse.

English translation of verse 5.2.16:

Then, passing stool and urine, his life breath stopped, and his stomach broken by Lord Kṛṣṇa's arm, the horse-demon suddenly died.
