The Garga-samhita Verse 5.2.14, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 2 (The Killing of Keshi) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

गृहीत्वा तं हरिर् दोर्भ्यां
भ्रामयित्वा त्व् इतस् ततः
आकाशात् पातयाम् आस
कमण्डलुम् इवार्भकः

gṛhītvā taṃ harir dorbhyāṃ
bhrāmayitvā tv itas tataḥ
ākāśāt pātayām āsa
kamaṇḍalum ivārbhakaḥ

gṛhītvāgrabbing; tam—him; hariḥLord Kṛṣṇa; dorbhyām—with both arms; bhrāmayitvā—whirling around; tv—indeed; itas tataḥ—herew and there; ākāśāt—from the sky; pātayām āsa—threw; kamaṇḍalum—a kamandalu; iva—like; arbhakaḥ—a child.

English translation of verse 5.2.14:

Suddenly grabbing him, and whirling him around and around, with both arms Lord Kṛṣṇa threw the demon to the earth as a child throws a kamaṇḍalu.
