The Garga-samhita Verse 5.1.1, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 1 (Advice to Kamsa) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

श्री-नारद उवाच
वसुदेव-सुतं देवं
कंस-चाणूर-मर्दनम्
देवकी-परमानन्दं
कृष्णं वन्दे जगद्-गुरुम्

śrī-nārada uvāca
vasudeva-sutaṃ devaṃ
kaṃsa-cāṇūra-mardanam
devakī-paramānandaṃ
kṛṣṇaṃ vande jagad-gurum

śrī-nārada uvāca—Śrī Nārada said; vasudeva-sutam—the son of Vasudeva; devam—the Supreme Personality of Godhead; kaṃsa-cāṇūra-mardanam—who defeated Kaṃsa and Canura; devakī-paramānandam—who gave bliss to Devakī; kṛṣṇam—Śrī Kṛṣṇa; vande—I offer my respectful obeisances; jagad-gurum—tbe master of the universes.

English translation of verse 5.1.1:

Śrī Nārada said: I offer my respectful obiesances to Śrī Kṛṣṇa, who is the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the master of the universes, the crusher of Kaṃsa and Cāṇūra, the son of Vasudeva, and the bliss of Devakī.
