The Garga-samhita Verse 4.23.6, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. श्रि-सुदर्चन उवाच अहम् सुदर्चनो नाम विद्याधर-वरः प्रभो अस्तावक्रम् मुनिम् द्र्स्त्वा हसितो ऽस्मि महा-बलः

śri-sudarcana uvāca aham sudarcano nāma vidyādhara-varaḥ prabho astāvakram munim drstvā hasito 'smi mahā-balaḥ

śri-sudarcana uvāca—Sri Sudarcana said; aham—I; sudarcanaḥ—Sudarcana; nāmanamed; vidyādhara-varaḥ—a great vidyādhara; prabhaḥ—O Lord; astāvakram—Astāvakra; munim—the sage; drstvā—seeing; hasitaḥ—laughed; asmi -

English translation of verse 4.23.6:

I; mahā-balaḥvery powerful.

Sri Sudarcana said: My name is Sudarcana. I am a great vidyādhara. When I saw the sage Astāvakra, I laughed at him.
