The Garga-samhita Verse 4.21.10, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 4 of Chapter 21 (Lord Krsna Extinguishes the Forest Fire and Reveals Himself to the Brahmana’s Wives) of Canto 4 (madhurya-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

श्रि-नारद उवाच न किन्चिद् उचुस् ते सर्वे वचः च्रुत्वा द्विजा न्र्प गोपा निराचा आगत्य इत्य् उचुः स-बलम् हरिम्

śri-nārada uvāca na kincid ucus te sarve vacaḥ crutvā dvijā nrpa gopā nirācā āgatya ity ucuḥ sa-balam harim

śri-nārada uvāca—Sri Nārada said; na—not; ki 24cit—anything; ucuḥ—said; te—they; sarve—all; vacaḥwords; crutvā—hearing; dvijāthe brāhmanas; nrpaO king; gopāthe gopas; nirācā—giving up hope; āgatya—returning; ity—thus; ucuḥ—said; sa-balam—with Balarāma; harim—to Lord Krsna.

English translation of verse 4.21.10:

Sri Nārada said: Although they heard these words, the brāhmanas did not say anything in reply. Giving up hope, the gopas returned and told all this to Krsna and Balarāma.
