The Garga-samhita Verse 4.21.8, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 4 of Chapter 21 (Lord Krsna Extinguishes the Forest Fire and Reveals Himself to the Brahmana’s Wives) of Canto 4 (madhurya-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

तदा तान् प्रेसयाम् आस यज्न आग्गिरसे हरिः

tadā tān presayām āsa yajna āggirase hariḥ

ते गत्वा तम् यज्न-वारम् नत्वोचुर् विमलम् वचः

te gatvā tam yajna-vāram natvocur vimalam vacaḥ

tadāthen; tān—them; presayām āsa—sent; yajne āggirase—to an angirasa-yajna; hariḥKrsna; te—they; gatvā—going; tam—this; yajna-vāramto the brāhmana assembled for the yajna; natvā—bowing down; ucuḥ—spoke; vimalam—sweet; vacaḥ—words.

English translation of verse 4.21.8:

Lord Krsna sent them to a place where an āggirasa-yaj 24a was being performed. The boys went to the yajna, bowed down before the performers of the yajna, and spoke many sweet words.
