The Garga-samhita Verse 4.21.7, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 4 of Chapter 21 (Lord Krsna Extinguishes the Forest Fire and Reveals Himself to the Brahmana’s Wives) of Canto 4 (madhurya-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

तत्र क्सुत्-पिडिता गोपाः

tatra ksut-piḍitā gopāḥ

श्रि-क्र्स्नम् स-बलम् हरिम् क्र्तान्जलि-पुता उचुः

śri-krsnam sa-balam harim krtānjali-putā ucuḥ

ksudhārtāḥ sma vayam prabho tatra—there; ksut-piḍitā—tormented with hunger; gopāḥthe gopas; śri-krsnam—to Sri Krsna; sa-balam—and Balarāma; harim—Krsna; krtānjali-putā—with folded hands; ucuḥ—said; ksudhārtāḥ—tormented with hunder; sma—indeed; vayam—we are; prabhaḥ—O master.

English translation of verse 4.21.7:

Tormented with hunger, the gopas, respectfully folding their hands said to Krsna and Balarāma, "O Lord, we are tormented with hunger."
