The Garga-samhita Verse 4.21.3, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 4 of Chapter 21 (Lord Krsna Extinguishes the Forest Fire and Reveals Himself to the Brahmana’s Wives) of Canto 4 (madhurya-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

गोभिर् गोपाः समेतास् ते श्रि-क्र्स्नम् स-बलम् हरिम् वदन्तः पाहि पाहिति भयार्ताः चरनम् गताः

gobhir gopāḥ sametās te śri-krsnam sa-balam harim vadantaḥ pāhi pāhiti bhayārtāḥ caranam gatāḥ

gobhiḥthe cows; gopāḥthe gopas; sametāḥ—with; te—they; śri-krsnam—to Sri Krsna; sa-balam—and Balarāma; harim—Lord Krsna; vadantaḥ—saying; pāhi—save!; pāhiti—save!; bhayārtāḥ—frightened; caranam—shelter; gatāh—went.

English translation of verse 4.21.3:

Followed by the cows, and calling out "Save us! Save us!", the frightened gopas took shelter of Krsna and Balarāma.
