The Garga-samhita Verse 4.21.1, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 4 of Chapter 21 (Lord Krsna Extinguishes the Forest Fire and Reveals Himself to the Brahmana’s Wives) of Canto 4 (madhurya-khanda).

श्रि-नारद उवाच अथ क्रिडा-प्रसक्तेसु गोपेसु स-बलेसु च त्र्न-लोभेन विविचुर् गावः सर्वाः महद् वनम्

śri-nārada uvāca atha kriḍā-prasaktesu gopesu sa-balesu ca trna-lobhena vivicur gāvaḥ sarvāḥ mahad vanam

śri-nārada uvāca—Sri Nārada said; athathen; kriḍā-prasaktesu—intent on playing; gopesu—when the gopas; sa-balesu—with Balarāma; ca—amd; trna-lobhena—eager for grass; vivicuḥ—entered; gāvaḥ—the cows; sarvāḥ—all; mahatthe great; vanam—forest.

English translation of verse 4.21.1:

Sri Nārada said: As Balarāma and the gopas intently played, all the cows, hungry for more grass, went far into the forest.
