The Garga-samhita Verse 4.20.7, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 4 of Chapter 20 (The Killing of Pralamba) of Canto 4 (madhurya-khanda).

तत्रागतो गोप-रुपि प्रलम्बः कम्स-नोदितः

tatrāgato gopa-rupi pralambaḥ kamsa-noditaḥ

na jnāto bālakaiḥ so 'pi harinā vidito 'bhavat tatra—there; āgataḥcome; gopa-rupiin the form of a gopa; pralambaḥPralamba; kamsa-noditaḥ—sent by Kamsa; na—not; jnātaḥ—known; bālakaiḥ—by the boys; saḥ—he; api—although; harinā—by Krsna; viditaḥknown; abhavat -was.

English translation of verse 4.20.7:

Sent by Kamsa, and now assuming the form of a gopa, the demon Pralamba came there. Although the gopas did not know who he really was, Krsna did.
