पुज-काले तु यो नित्यम् पथते भक्ति-भावतः

puja-kāle tu yo nityam pathate bhakti-bhāvataḥ

lipyate nā sa pāpena padma-patram ivāmbhasā puja-kāleat the time of worship; tu—indeed; yaḥ—one who; nityam—regularly; pathate—recites; bhakti-bhāvataḥ—with devotion; lipyate—is touched; nā—not; sa—he; pāpena—by sin; padma-patram—a lotus leaf; iva—like; ambhasā -by water.

English translation of verse 4.19.137:

A person who when he worships the Lord recites these thousand names of Sri Yamunā is never touched by sin as a lotus leaf is never touched by water.
