श्री-मन्धातोवाच नाम्नाम् सहस्रम् क्र्स्नयाः
śrī-mandhātovāca nāmnām sahasram krsnayāḥ
सर्व-सिद्धि-करम् परम् वद माम् मुनि-चार्दुल त्वम् सर्वज्नो निरामयः
sarva-siddhi-karam param vada mām muni-cārdula tvam sarvajno nirāmayaḥ
śrī-mandhātā uvāca—Srī Mandhātā said; nāmnām—of names; sahasram—thousand; krsnayāḥ—of the Yamunā; sarva-siddhi-karam—granting all perfection; param—great; vada—please tell; mām—to me; muni-cārdula—O tiger among the sages; tvam—you; sarvaj 24aḥ—all-knowing; nirāmayaḥ—free from illusion.
English translation of verse 4.19.1:
Srī Mandhātā said: O tiger among the sages, you know everything. You are never bewildered. Please tell me the thousand names of Srī Yamunā, names that bring all perfection.
