The Garga-samhita Verse 4.18.3, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 4 of Chapter 18 (The Names and Worship of Sri Yamuna) of Canto 4 (madhurya-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

प्रनवम् पुर्वम् उद्ध्र्त्य माया-बीजम् ततः परम् रमा-बीजम् ततः क्र्त्वा काम-बिजम् विधानतः

pranavam purvam uddhrtya māyā-bījam tataḥ param ramā-bījam tataḥ krtvā kāma-bijam vidhānataḥ

pranavam—Om; purvam—first; uddhrtya—reciting; māyā-bījam—the maya-bija; tataḥ—then; param—then; ramā-bījam—the Rama-bīja syllable; tataḥ—then; krtvā—doing; kāma-bijam—the Kāma-bīja syllable; vidhānataḥ—accordingly.

English translation of verse 4.18.3:

First one says Om, then the Māyā-bīja, then the Ramā-bīja, and then the Kāma-bīja.
