The Garga-samhita Verse 4.16.7, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. अधरौ पातु कालिन्दी चिबुकम् सुर्य-कन्यका यम-स्वसा कन्धरम् च ह्र्दयम् मे महा-नदी

adharau pātu kālindī cibukam surya-kanyakā yama-svasā kandharam ca hrdayam me mahā-nadī

adharau—lips; pātumay protect; kālindīKalindi; cibukam—chin; surya-kanyakāthe daughter of the sun-god; yama-svasāthe sister of Yamaraja; kandharam—neck; ca—and; hrdayam—chest; me—my; mahā-nadīthe great river.

English translation of verse 4.16.7:

May Kālindī always protect my lips. May Surya-kanyakā always protect my chin. May Yama-svasā always protect my neck. May Mahā-nadī always protect my chest.
