The Garga-samhita Verse 4.15.18, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 4 of Chapter 15 (The Story of the Women of Barhishmati-pura, the Apsaras, and the Women of Sutala and Nagendra) of Canto 4 (madhurya-khanda).

श्री-मन्धातोवाच
भगवन् सर्व-वित् साक्षात्
त्वं परावर-वित्तमः
लोकानां तमसो ऽन्धानां
दिव्य-सूर्य इवापरः

śrī-mandhātovāca
bhagavan sarva-vit sākṣāt
tvaṃ parāvara-vittamaḥ
lokānāṃ tamaso 'ndhānāṃ
divya-sūrya ivāparaḥ

śrī-mandhātovāca—Śrī Mandhātā said; bhagavanO lord; sarva-vit—knowing everything; sākṣātdirectly; tvam—you; parāvara-vittamaḥ—the best of the all-knowing; lokānām—of the worlds; tamasaḥ—of the darkness; andhānām—darkened; divya-sūryaa splendid sun; iva—like; aparaḥ—another.

English translation of verse 4.15.18:

Śrī Mandhātā said: O Lord, O best of the all-knowing, You are like a second sun that lights up the darkness of the worlds.
