पुरं बर्हिषदं नाम
व्रज-सीम्नि मनोहरम्
रङ्गोजये ददौ कंसो
दैत्यानाम् अधिपो बली
puraṃ barhiṣadaṃ nāma
vraja-sīmni manoharam
raṅgojaye dadau kaṃso
daityānām adhipo balī
puram—a city; barhiṣadam—Barhisat; nāma—named; vraja-sīmni—on the outskirts of Vraja; manoharam—beautiful; raṅgojaye—to rangoji; dadau—gave; kaṃsaḥ—Kaṃsa; daityānām—of the demons; adhipaḥ—the king; balī—powerful.
English translation of verse 4.14.33:
Then the powerful demon-king Kaṃsa gave to Raṅgoji a beautiful city named Barhiṣat, which stood on the outskirts of Vraja.
