The Garga-samhita Verse 4.14.32, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. श्रुत्वा पराजयं स्वस्य
कौरवाः क्रोध-मुर्छिताः
दैत्यानां समयं दृष्ट्वा
सर्वे वै मौनम् आस्थिताः

śrutvā parājayaṃ svasya
kauravāḥ krodha-murchitāḥ
daityānāṃ samayaṃ dṛṣṭvā
sarve vai maunam āsthitāḥ

śrutvāhearing; parājayam—the victory; svasya—own; kauravāḥ—the Kurus; krodha-murchitāḥ—fainting with anger; daityānām—of the demons; samayam—the right time; dṛṣṭvāseeing; sarve—all; vai—indeed; maunam—silent; āsthitāḥ—stood.

English translation of verse 4.14.32:

Hearing of their own defeat, the Kurus were overcome with anger. Seeing that things were now favorable for the demons, everyone became silent.
