The Garga-samhita Verse 4.14.30, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 4 of Chapter 14 (The Story of the Jalandharis) of Canto 4 (madhurya-khanda).

एवं भयङ्करं युद्धं
दृष्ट्वा वै कुरु-सैनिकाः
शेषा भयातुरा वीरा
जग्मुस् ते ऽपि दिशो दश

evaṃ bhayaṅkaraṃ yuddhaṃ
dṛṣṭvā vai kuru-sainikāḥ
śeṣā bhayāturā vīrā
jagmus te 'pi diśo daśa

evam—thus; bhayaṅkaram—fearsome; yuddham—battle; dṛṣṭvāseeing; vai—indeed; kuru-sainikāḥ—the Kuru soldiers; śeṣāthe remnant; bhayāturā—frightened; vīrāwarriors; jagmuḥ—fled; te—they; api—also; diśaḥin the directions; daśaten.

English translation of verse 4.14.30:

When they saw the fearsome nature of this battle, the remaining Kuru soldiers became frightened and fled in the ten directions.
