The Garga-samhita Verse 4.14.13, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. अनाथः शरणं चेच्छन्
कंसाय यदु-भूभृते
दूतं स्वं प्रेषयाम् आस
रङ्गोजिर् भय-पीडितः

anāthaḥ śaraṇaṃ cecchan
kaṃsāya yadu-bhūbhṛte
dūtaṃ svaṃ preṣayām āsa
raṅgojir bhaya-pīḍitaḥ

anāthaḥ—hopeless; śaraṇam—shelter; ca—and; icchan—desiring; kaṃsāya—to Kaṃsa; yadu-bhūbhṛte—the king of the Yadus; dūtam—a messenger; svam—own; preṣayām āsa—sent; raṅgojiḥ—Rangoji; bhaya-pīḍitaḥtoretured with fear.

English translation of verse 4.14.13:

When all was hopeless, he sent a messenger to Kaṃsa, the king of the Yadus.
