The Garga-samhita Verse 4.14.11, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 4 of Chapter 14 (The Story of the Jalandharis) of Canto 4 (madhurya-khanda).

तेन सार्धं हि बाणौघैस्
तीक्ष्ण-धारैः स्फुरत्-प्रभैः
युयुधे दंशितो युद्धे
धनुस् तङ्कारयन् मुहुः

tena sārdhaṃ hi bāṇaughais
tīkṣṇa-dhāraiḥ sphurat-prabhaiḥ
yuyudhe daṃśito yuddhe
dhanus taṅkārayan muhuḥ

tena—him; sārdham—with; hi—indeed; bāṇaof arrows; aughaiḥ—with a flood; tīkṣṇa-dhāraiḥ—sharp; sphurat-prabhaiḥ—splendid; yuyudhe—fought; daṃśitaḥ—wounded; yuddhe—in the battle; dhanuḥ—bow; taṅkārayan—twanging; muhuḥ—again and again.

English translation of verse 4.14.11:

Although wounded by a flood of arrows, he continued to fight, again and again shooting his bow.
