कारागारान् महा-भीमात्
कदाचित् स पलायितः
रात्रौ रङ्ग-पुरं प्रागाद्
रङ्गोजिर् गोप-नायकः
kārāgārān mahā-bhīmāt
kadācit sa palāyitaḥ
rātrau raṅga-puraṃ prāgād
raṅgojir gopa-nāyakaḥ
kārāgārāt—from the prison; mahā-bhīmāt—horrible; kadācit—once; sa—he; palāyitaḥ—escaped; rātrau—at night; raṅga-puram—to his city; prāgāt—went; raṅgojiḥ—Rangoji; gopa-nāyakaḥ—the gopa king.
English translation of verse 4.14.9:
One night the gopa-king Raṅgoji escaped from the prison and returned to his own city.
