मिलित्वा गोप-राजं स
दृष्ट्वा वृन्दावन-श्रियम्
नन्द-राजाज्ञया तत्र
वासं चक्रे महा-मनाः
militvā gopa-rājaṃ sa
dṛṣṭvā vṛndāvana-śriyam
nanda-rājājñayā tatra
vāsaṃ cakre mahā-manāḥ
militvā—meeting; gopa-rājam—the gopa king; sa—he; dṛṣṭvā—seeing; vṛndāvana-śriyam—the beauty of Vṛndāvana; nanda-rāja—of King Nanda; ājñayā—by the request; tatra—there; vāsam—residence; cakre—made; mahā-manāḥ—noble-hearted.
English translation of verse 4.13.4:
He met King Nanda, and he saw the beauty of Vṛndāvana. With Nanda's permission, the noble-hearted king made his residence there.
