The Garga-samhita Verse 4.12.4, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 4 of Chapter 12 (The Story of the Gopis That In the Holi Festival Displayed Three Transcendental Virtues) of Canto 4 (madhurya-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

तेषु गृहेषु सञ्जाताः
कन्यका देव-वाक्यतः
काश्चिद् दिव्या अदिव्याश् च
तथा त्रि-गुण-वृत्तयः

teṣu gṛheṣu sañjātāḥ
kanyakā deva-vākyataḥ
kāścid divyā adivyāś ca
tathā tri-guṇa-vṛttayaḥ

teṣu—there; gṛheṣuin the homes; sañjātāḥ—born; kanyakādaughters; deva-vākyataḥ—by the word of the Lord; kāścit—some; divyāfrom the heavenly planets; adivyāḥ—not from the heavenly p;lanets; ca—and; tathā—so; tri-guṇa-vṛttayaḥ—endowed with three virtues.

English translation of verse 4.12.4:

Following the orders of the demigods, these girls, endowed with three virtues, some from the celestial planets, and some not from the celestial planets, took birth in the homes of the Upanandas.
