The Garga-samhita Verse 4.11.24, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 4 of Chapter 11 (The Story of the Gopis That were Residents of Rama-vaikuntha, Shvetadvipa, Urdhva-vaikuntha, Ajita-pada, and Shri Lokacala) of Canto 4 (madhurya-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

नेत्राण्य् उन्मील्य ददृशुः
सानन्दं नन्द-नन्दनम्
विस्मितास् तत्-प्रभाव-ज्ञा
हर्षिता मोहम् आगताः

netrāṇy unmīlya dadṛśuḥ
sānandaṃ nanda-nandanam
vismitās tat-prabhāva-jñā
harṣitā moham āgatāḥ

netrāṇy—eyes; unmīlyaopening; dadṛśuḥ—saw; sānandam—with bliss; nanda-nandanam—the son of Nanda; vismitāḥfilled with wonder; tat-prabhāva-jñāḥ—understanding His transcendental power; harṣitā—delighted; moham—enchantment; āgatāḥ—attained.

English translation of verse 4.11.24:

Opening their eyes, they happily gazed at Kṛṣṇa, the son of Nanda. Delighted, filled with wonder, and now aware of His transcendental powers, the gopīs fainted unconscious.
