The Garga-samhita Verse 4.10.12, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 4 of Chapter 10 (The Story of the Pulinda Women) of Canto 4 (madhurya-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

तद्-दर्शन-स्मर-रुजः
पुलिन्द्यः प्रेम-विह्वलाः
श्रीमत्-पाद-रजो धृत्वा
ध्यायन्त्यस् तम् अहर्-निशम्

tad-darśana-smara-rujaḥ
pulindyaḥ prema-vihvalāḥ
śrīmat-pāda-rajo dhṛtvā
dhyāyantyas tam ahar-niśam

tad-darśanaby seeing Him; smara-rujaḥoverciem with passion; pulindyaḥPulinda girls; prema-vihvalāḥ—filled with love; śrīmat-pāda-rajaḥ—the dust of His feet; dhṛtvā—taking; dhyāyantyaḥ—meditating; tam—on Him; ahar-niśam—day and night.

English translation of verse 4.10.12:

Simply by seeing Lord Kṛṣṇa, they were overcome with passionate love for Him.

They embraced the dust that had touched His feet. They thought of Him day and night.
