कुपितस् तेषु बलवान्
विन्ध्या-देशाधिपो बली
अक्षौहिणीभ्यां तान् सर्वान्
पुलिन्दान् स रुरोध ह
kupitas teṣu balavān
vindhyā-deśādhipo balī
akṣauhiṇībhyāṃ tān sarvān
pulindān sa rurodha ha
kupitaḥ—angry; teṣu—at them; balavān—powerful; vindhyā-deśādhipaḥ—the king of Vindhya-desa; balī—powerful; akṣauhiṇībhyām—with two aksauhinis; tān—them; sarvān—all; pulindān—the Pulindas; sa—he; rurodha—stopped; ha—indeed.
English translation of verse 4.10.3:
Very angry, the powerful king of Vindhyā-deśa took two akṣauhiṇī divisions of soldiers, and confronted all the Pulindas.
