अद्यापि राज्यं कुरुते कुवेर-वद्
राज्ञा युतो ऽसौ किल चन्द्रभागया
एकादशीं सर्व-तिथीश्वरीं परं
जनीथ गोप्यो न हि तत्-समान्या
adyāpi rājyaṃ kurute kuvera-vad
rājñā yuto 'sau kila candrabhāgayā
ekādaśīṃ sarva-tithīśvarīṃ paraṃ
janītha gopyo na hi tat-samānyā
adyāpi—even now; rājyam—kingdom; kurute—does; kuvera-vat—like Kuvera; rājñā—king; yutaḥ—engaged; asau—he; kila—indeed; candrabhāgayā—with Candrabhaga; ekādaśīm—ekādaśī; sarva-tithīśvarīm—the queen of holy days; param—great; janītha—know; gopyaḥ—O gopīs; na—not; hi—indeed; tat-samānyā—equal;
English translation of verse 4.9.22:
Even today one can attain a kingdom like Kuvera's simply by following ekādaśī. O gopīs, please know that ekādaśī is the queen of all holy days. No other holy day is her
equal.
