The Garga-samhita Verse 4.9.6, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. भद्रावत्यां केतुमता
कृतम् एकादशी-व्रतम्
पुत्र-हीनेन सद्-वाक्यात्
पुत्रं लेभे स मानवः

bhadrāvatyāṃ ketumatā
kṛtam ekādaśī-vratam
putra-hīnena sad-vākyāt
putraṃ lebhe sa mānavaḥ

bhadrāvatyām—in Bhadravati; ketumatā—by Ketumān; kṛtam—done; ekādaśī-vratam—the vow of ekādaśī; putra-hīnena—without a son; sad-vākyāt—by the words of a saint; putram—a son; lebhe—attained; sa—he; mānavaḥ—the person.

English translation of verse 4.9.6:

In the city of Bhadrāvatī, King Ketumān was sonless. Following ekādaśī on a great saint's advice, he obtained a son.
