श्री-गोप्य ऊचुः
वृषभानु-सुते सु-भ्रु
सर्व-शास्त्रार्थ-पार-गे
विडम्बयन्ती त्वं वाचा
वाचं वाचस्पतेर् मुनेः

śrī-gopya ūcuḥ
vṛṣabhānu-sute su-bhru
sarva-śāstrārtha-pāra-ge
viḍambayantī tvaṃ vācā
vācaṃ vācaspater muneḥ

śrī-gopya ūcuḥ—the gopīs said; vṛṣabhānu-sute—O daughter of King Vṛṣabhānu; su-bhruO girl with the beautiful eyebrows; sarva-śāstrārthathe meanings of all the scriptures; pāra-ge—O You who travel to the farther shore; viḍambayanti—imitating; tvam—You; vācāwith words; vācam—the words; vācaspateḥ—of Brhaspati; muneḥ—the sage.

English translation of verse 4.9.1:

The gopīs said: O beautiful-eyebrowed daughter of King Vṛṣabhānu, O girl who has traveled to the farther shore of the deep meanings of all the scriptures, Your words are like Bṛhaspati Muni's words.
