The Garga-samhita Verse 4.8.35, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 4 of Chapter 8 (In the Story of the Yajna-sitas, the Glories of Ekadashi) of Canto 4 (madhurya-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

एकादशी-व्रतस्यास्य
फलं वक्ष्ये व्रजाङ्गनाः
यस्य श्रवण-मात्रेण
वाजपेय-फलं लभेत्

ekādaśī-vratasyāsya
phalaṃ vakṣye vrajāṅganāḥ
yasya śravaṇa-mātreṇa
vājapeya-phalaṃ labhet

ekādaśī-vratasya asyaof the vow of ekādaśī; phalam—the result; vakṣye—I will say; vrajāṅganāḥ—O girls of Vraja; yasya—of which; śravaṇaby hearing; mātreṇa—simply; vājapeya-phalam—the result of an vajapeya-yajna; labhet—one attains.

English translation of verse 4.8.35:

O girls of Vraja, now I will tell you the result of following ekādaśī. Simply by hearing this description one attains the reuslt of performing a vājapeya-yajña.
