The Garga-samhita Verse 4.6.9, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 4 of Chapter 6 (The Story of the Ayodhya Women) of Canto 4 (madhurya-khanda).

वसुदेवो ऽस्ति चात्रैव
ह्य् अपुत्रो दीन-मानसः
इदं न कथनीयं हि
त्वया कंस-भयं पुरे

vasudevo 'sti cātraiva
hy aputro dīna-mānasaḥ
idaṃ na kathanīyaṃ hi
tvayā kaṃsa-bhayaṃ pure

vasudevaḥVasudeva; astiis; ca—and; atra—here; eva—indeed; hi—indeed; aputraḥ—sonless; dīna-mānasaḥ—unhappy at heart; idam—thus; na—not; kathanīyam—to be spoken; hi—indeed; tvayā—by you; kaṃsa-bhayam—out of fear of Kaṃsa; pure—in the city.

English translation of verse 4.6.9:

Now sonless, Vasudeva is unhappy at heart. Because of the danger of Kaṃsa, you should not repeat these words in this city.
