श्री-नारद उवाच
तदाति-हर्षितो राजा
श्रुत्वा वाक्यं महा-मुनेः
पुनः पप्रच्छ सन्देहं
याज्ञवल्क्यं महा-मुनिम्
śrī-nārada uvāca
tadāti-harṣito rājā
śrutvā vākyaṃ mahā-muneḥ
punaḥ papraccha sandehaṃ
yājñavalkyaṃ mahā-munim
śrī-nārada uvāca—Srī Nārada said; tadā—then; ati-harṣitaḥ—very happy; rājā—the king; śrutvā—hearing; vākyam—the words; mahā-muneḥ—of the great sage; punaḥ—again; papraccha—asked; sandeham—a doubt; yājñavalkyam—to Yāj 24avalkya; mahā-munim—the great sage.
English translation of verse 4.5.16:
Srī Nārada said: Very happy to hear these words, the king asked Yājñavalkya Muni the following question.
