श्री-याज्ञवल्क्य उवाच
राजन् कृशो ऽसि कस्मात् त्वं
का चिन्ता ते हृदि स्थिता
सप्तस्व् अङ्गेषु कुशलं
दृश्यते साम्प्रतं तव
śrī-yājñavalkya uvāca
rājan kṛśo 'si kasmāt tvaṃ
kā cintā te hṛdi sthitā
saptasv aṅgeṣu kuśalaṃ
dṛśyate sāmprataṃ tava
śrī-yājñavalkya uvāca—Yājñavalkya said; rājan—O king; kṛśaḥ—distraught; asi—you are; kasmāt—why?; tvam—you; kā—what?; cintā—anxiety; te—of you; hṛdi—in the heart; sthitā—situated; saptasv—in seven; aṅgeṣu—limbs; kuśalam—auspiciousness; dṛśyate—is seen. sāmpratam—now; tava—of you.
English translation of verse 4.5.8:
Srī Yājñavalkya said: O king, why are you distraught? What is the worry in your heart? I can see the seven limbs of your body are marked with all auspiciousness.
